Our story

An idea long before an organization.

Beyond Borders D-E Consulting Group began as an idea long before it became an organization.

  1. 2017

    A philosophy takes shape

    Its philosophy dates back to 2017, built around a simple belief: knowledge should be shared, ideas should travel, and the opportunities we receive should enable us to create opportunities for others.

  2. The years that followed

    Carried through practice

    For years, the founders carried this belief through their respective personal and professional journeys. They worked with different people, communities, institutions, and systems, learning from both successes and difficult challenges. Across those experiences, one lesson remained constant: meaningful change begins when people are willing to see possibilities beyond the boundaries in front of them.

  3. Over time

    From personal philosophy to shared conviction

    What began as a personal philosophy became a shared conviction. We came to realise that the lessons, experiences, ideas, and networks developed along the journey should not remain with two individuals. They could become a platform for helping others solve problems, discover opportunities, strengthen their capabilities, and pursue ideas that might otherwise remain unrealized.

  4. A changing world

    Why it matters now

    The world has changed, and the challenges facing organizations and communities have changed with it. Today's world needs people who can think differently, adapt quickly, connect knowledge across disciplines and places, and turn ideas into action. But innovation alone is not enough. We believe knowledge becomes more powerful when it is shared, and success becomes more meaningful when it creates possibilities for others.

  5. July 2026

    Formally established

    Beyond Borders D-E Consulting Group was formally established, giving an organizational home to a philosophy that had been developing and practiced since 2017.

  6. Today

    From challenges to possibilities to action

    Beyond Borders brings together local wisdom, global perspectives, evidence, innovation, and practical experience to help organizations and communities move from challenges to possibilities and from possibilities to action.

    Through consulting, research, training, technical assistance, and strategic advisory services, we seek not only to deliver solutions, but also to build capacity, share knowledge, inspire new thinking, and leave people and institutions stronger than we found them.
