Emmerenciana E Lonje

Emmerenciana is a Nutrition and Food Security professional with experience spanning nutrition, health, agriculture, research, data management and community-focused development. She holds a Master of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies from Texas Tech University, with concentrations in Nutrition Sciences and Food Sciences, and a Bachelor of Science in Food Security and Nutrition from the University of Livingstonia.

Her professional journey has brought together technical knowledge and practical experience across different sectors. She has worked with the Malawi Ministry of Health, Malawi Ministry of Agriculture, Global Fund, Save the Children Malawi, Clinton Health Access Initiative, Center for Development Management and Development Partners through consulting engagements across Kenya, South Africa, and Angola. Her experience includes nutrition assessments, health and food security programs, data quality and management, nutrition and school feeding research, sanitation and hygiene initiatives, community mobilization, and nutrition program implementation.

These experiences have shaped her understanding that strong programs don't succeed through good ideas alone. They require clear systems, effective coordination, reliable information, accountable implementation and people who can move work from planning to action.

At Beyond Borders D-E Consulting Group, Emmerenciana provides operational leadership and effective day-to-day operations. As Operations Lead, she supports the coordination of consultancy assignments, monitors project timelines and deliverables, strengthens administrative and documentation systems, coordinates staff and consultant activities, and works across functions to ensure that resources and processes are aligned with organizational objectives.

Her Philosophy

Emmerenciana believes effective consulting begins with understanding the problem, the people involved and the context in which a solution must work. From there, good systems and collaborative implementation can turn ideas into measurable results.

She believes that operations should never be viewed simply as administrative work. Strong operations create a foundation that allows technical experts, consultants and partners to perform at their best; clear processes, effective coordination, accountability, quality assurance and good communication are therefore essential to sustainable impact.

Her approach is centered on impact before activity, ensuring that Beyond Borders does not simply remain busy but remains purposeful.

She envisions Beyond Borders D-E Consulting Group as a consultancy where strong ideas are matched by strong execution.
